THE SUMMARY OF THE LAW:
Minister Our Lord Jesus Christ said: the first and great commandment is this:
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength." The second is this: "Love your neighbor as yourself." There is no other commandment greater than these.
All Write these laws in our hearts, we pray. Amen
Confession and Absolution
Minister: God is love and we are his children.
There is no room for fear in love.
We love because he loved us first.
Minister: Let us confess our sins in penitence and faith.
Minister: O God, you have put wisdom in our inward parts
So that deep down we know your ways,
And with all creation we give you praise.
People Yet too often,
Our actions deny the wisdom you have provided,
And we do things to ourselves and to your creation
that contradict your ways.
Forgive us, O God,
And help us to follow the wisdom that you have given us,
So that with your servant Jesus we may become the faithful
And compassionate Allyou have created us to be.
Minister Almighty God, whose steadfast love is as great as the heavens are high above the earth,
remove your sins from you, as far as the east is from the west, strengthen your life in His kingdom and
keep you in goodness to the last day; through Jesus Christ, our merciful High Priest. Amen.

Presider: Let us worship in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Presider: The Lord be with you.
All And also with you.
Presider: God of grace, who leads us into the challenges of everyday life,
Refresh us with your loving-kindness.
All God of love, who calls us out of trouble into peace,
Refresh us with your loving-kindness.
Presider: God of the lost, the hurt, the oppressed,
Refresh us with your loving-kindness.
All God of our successes and struggles,
Refresh us with your loving-kindness.
Presider: God of mystery, who calls us always into the unknown,
All Refresh us with your loving-kindness as we offer you our worship.
Presider: Let us pray
Almighty God, to you all hearts are open, all desires known, and from you no secrets are hid: Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you and worthily magnify your holy name, through Christ our Lord, Amen.

As our country debates health care, with another unfortunate event of senseless violence, non-violent civil disobedience and conflict resolution need to be inside of everyone's heart. Killing,hurting,injuring,harassing,or any type of abuse to anyone else is NEVER the answer. We can accept other people, even though they may be different than ourselves. Differences can be welcomed and appreciated. You can LOVE someone who is different, the only thing preventing this is you, remember loving others can be easy to do.

I believe that God is love.
that Jesus is God’s love incarnate.
that through that love, we are saved.
It is because of that love, that I believe in non-violence,
in turning the other cheek,
that it’s no coincidence that Jesus is known as the other way,
that more can be accomplished by love than hate.
I believe that in order to eradicate violence, we need community;
that together, love can happen.
In order to create community, acceptance is necessary.
Christians must be accepting:
of homosexuals,
of other denominations,
of other religions,
of women,
of men,
of the possibility that we may be wrong.
Finally, community is created through sharing:
share your goods,
share your money,
share your food,
share your love,
Because God is love.
Amen.

The sooner we all come to realize God is all of this and much more the world will become a better place, and the Kingdom of Heaven will be closer to us on Earth. Acceptance is the key, this is something far beyond just tolerance this is learning to LOVE others as they are, it is coming to grips and ACCEPTING them as they are. This is something we have to accept deep inside ourselves, as a part of ourselves also. Thanks Roger for this great Creed

I believe we can see from today's and other recent events that tolerance as a philosophy has failed. Tolerance has not made us better world citizens. Tolerance has not made us more peaceful, or has it made us more attuned to developing relationships of common need with other global citizens. This is why I hope tolerance as a global philosophy will be dropped, and LOVE and ACCEPTANCE taught in its place. There is no good reason why difference cannot be accepted and welcomed. This will lead to ACCEPTANCE. Remember that the first step to loving someone else is ACCEPTING them as they are. Why can't this be a global Philosophy? I would love to hear everyone's thoughts as our solution will come from the grassroots(of the people) so let's try an start this change.
