Today's Simple Message:
Song of Preparation for Communion: Come to the Table Let us sing together as we prepare our hearts and minds for Communion... Come to the table of mercy, Prepared with the wine and the bread; All who are hungry and thirsty, Come and your souls will be fed. Come at the Lord's invitation; receive from His nail scarred hand. Eat of the bread of salvation; Drink of the blood of the Lamb.
Self – Examination: [1Co.11:27-29] Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way will be guilty of sin against the body and blood of the Lord. So a man should examine himself; in this way he should eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.
Prayers of Confession: Take a silent moment to reflect on whatever confessions you may have left unrepentant before God. (then join us in our Lords Prayer)
The Lords Prayer Our Father which art in Heaven hallowed be thy Name thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, give us this day our daily bread and for give us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the Glory for ever – Amen
Our Assurance of Pardon: Know that with a repentant heart – He has heard our confessions & our prayers and we are a Loved and Forgiven People...Amen
The Lords Supper [1 Co. 11: 23-26] For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: on the night when He was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and said, “This is My body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.” (eat the bread) in the same way He also took the cup, after supper, and said, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” (drink the cup) For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.
